setSelection - for After Effects

setSelection is a single button script for saving selections of properties to speed up navigating your timeline. No more setting keyframes to save and find the properties you want to tweak! Similar to the Selection Tag in Cinema 4D.

Create selections, add/remove single properties, and copy & paste selection sets between layers.

Run the “setSelection.jsxbin” using KBar or as a dockable panel.

To Set a Selection:

Select your desired properties and run setSelection. A marker will be applied to indicate that a selection is saved for that layer.

To Reselect a Saved Selection:

Select your layer and run setSelection again. Your saved selection will be restored, but you might not see it yet. You must hit 'SS' to reveal your selected properties.

Note: Once your properties are selected, don't deselect the layer before hitting SS to reveal them. Deselecting the layer will also deselect the properties.

See included PDF for instructions on adding, removing, copying & pasting selections.
